More than 3,900 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros.' multi-million-dollar unreserved public equipment auction in Chicago, Ill., on March 23.

With bidders from 51 countries, approximately 67 percent of the equipment in the auction was sold to out-of-state buyers, from as far away as Australia, Egypt and Thailand. Online bidders purchased approximately 60 percent of the equipment sold (by dollar value).

More than 2,200 equipment items and trucks were sold in the auction, including more than 60 compactors, 60 skid steers, 55 excavators, 40 loaders, 15 dozers, 50 boom and scissor lifts, 240 truck tractors and 180 trailers.
