Ritchie Bros. held a special event prior to the Florida Auctions. Attendees had the chance to see up-close and in depth how the major auction prepares for the big annual sale and broadly, how Ritchie Bros. operates as a company throughout the year.

The event gave customers the opportunity to learn about various features available through Ritchie Bros. Due to a partnership with Travelers Financial, Ritchie Bros. is able to provide financing. Painting and refurbishing services are provided on site in permitted states. A power train service warranty is available to customers in the United States, Canada and Australia on behalf of Amtrust. Full risk insurance is offered to buyers and consigners for equipment being shipped to, from and being stored on site.

When it comes time to move the purchased machinery, UShip through a partnership with Ritchie Bros., provides all shipping needs for the customer. UShip has saved Ritchie Bros. buyers more than 10 million dollars in shipping costs since 2009.

Customers also had the chance to see how Ritchie Bros. performed in 2013. Highlights from the past year included the company’s first auction in China and the launch of EquipmentOne.
