Komatsu America Corp. (KAC), the second-largest supplier of construction, mining and utility equipment and parts and services in North America, has announced Road Machinery Co., Phoenix, AZ, will be its distributor for Southern California in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura counties.

Founded in 1957, Road Machinery services mining, aggregate and construction industries and is the current Komatsu distributor in Arizona, New Mexico, Southwest Texas and Sonora, Mexico.

"Road Machinery has been an integral part of Komatsu's dealer network for many years," said Ken Nakamura, KAC president. "They continue to set the standard for superior customer service and our Southern California customers will benefit greatly from this expansion."

"Our customers are our No. 1 priority and Komatsu has made a strong effort to help us ensure they are being serviced in the best possible manner," said Michael Boze, president of Road Machinery. "It's our goal now to show the Southern California marketplace the same customer focused support and service the rest of our territory has witnessed for nearly 50 years."

With this new territory, Road Machinery will operate a full-service product support center in Southern California to dispatch service and maintenance vehicles, supply parts support and provide complete in-house repairs.
