The Roadtec RP-175e is a compact 8-ft. (2.5 m) wide rubber-track asphalt paver designed to work in all types of sub-grades and paving applications. Full counter-rotate ability and track flotation is designed to allow the RP-175e to maneuver and pave in tight areas without sacrificing tractive effort or pushing power. The RP-175e features Roadtec's anti-segregation design of the feed tunnel, the feed tunnel discharge and the rear augers.

The machine comes equipped with the Roadtec Eagle 8 screed, which is said to be the company's top line option, combining the latest in screed technology and heavy-duty structural design. The heated, vibratory rear-mounted hydraulic extensions move on dual guide tubes and greaseless bushings. Both edges of the Eagle U-shaped screed plate are curved, which means it can be reversed for a fresh leading edge — essentially providing twice the wear life. The Eagle 8 end gates can be swung in for shipping to narrow the load width to 8 ft.

Dual operator station seats on the Roadtec RP-175e paver can move out beyond the sides of the machine to give the operator a view down the sides of the machine.

The narrow shipping width of this paver is designed to facilitate transportation between job locations.
