Roland Machinery, the Komatsu distributor, has hired Randy Neel as a field mechanic. A certified technician, Neel is available for on-site service throughout the Peoria area. Customers can schedule preventive maintenance, routine service or emergency repairs in a seven county area that includes Fulton, Knox, Marshall, Peoria, Stark, Tazewell, and Woodford.

“We are pleased to have Randy join our Springfield area group,” said Gary Meister, product support sales manager at Roland Machinery.

“With fourteen years of experience in construction equipment repairs, he is a valuable addition to our company. Adding him as a field mechanic makes it possible to expand our service area substantially.”

Neel has extensive experience as a mechanic servicing many different construction equipment brands.

“You name it, I’ve fixed it,” said Neel. “I grew up on a farm and we didn’t have much money, so we fixed everything ourselves.”

Roland Machinery Co. has been selling and servicing heavy machinery since 1958. As the dealer for Komatsu in the Midwest, the company has 15 locations throughout the area, in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri and Wisconsin. Roland Machinery also carries equipment from ESCO, Hensley, Metso, Tiger, Universal, Valmet, Vogele, and Wirtgen.
