Roland Machinery Slam Dunks Columbia Grand Opening

Roland Machinery held an open house to celebrate the grand opening of its new facility in Columbia, MO, on Saturday, Oct. 21.

Kirk Funkenbusch, branch manager of the Columbia facility, has been with Roland Machinery for 23 years. According to Funkenbusch, there are more than 200 employees at the nine Roland locations, with nine mechanics, three parts personnel, one equipment salesman, a PSSR and a secretary manning the new branch in Columbia.

Roland also has plans for further expansion in the near future. Ray Roland, president of Roland Machinery, said the company will be opening a new facility with seven service bays in Marengo, IL, by Spring of 2002.

Roland Machinery is a distributor of Komatsu, Moxy, Dressta, Tesmec, Ingersoll-Rand, LeeBoy, Nordberg, Tramac, Bomag, Etnyre and Genesis construction equipment.
