Many contractors travel to Austin, TX, every year to see what’s new in the industry at the Associated General Contractors (AGC) Trade and Equipment Show. This year included a tour of ROMCO Equipment Company’s Field Support Showroom.

The showroom is designed to make its way across Texas to different work sites, letting contractors and their employees browse a variety of tools and after-market parts. The 2000 AGC Trade Show gave some of those same people a chance to experience the design concept for real. The 36-foot trailer housed products from Hensley, Ingersoll-Rand, Blaw-Knox, Hitachi, United, Seats Inc., Pacal, Fleetguard and Translectric.

“We look forward to the AGC show every year,” said Charlie Clarkson, executive vice president, ROMCO. “You see so many familiar faces and get to meet a few new ones. It’s a great excuse to catch up with your friends and enjoy Austin,” added Clarkson.

Paul Parker, a member of the ROMCO’s marketing team, said, “We lost count of the visitors who wanted to check things out. Our trade show space had the showroom and our newest line represented, Champion motor graders. We were happy to give everyone an up-close look.”
