 American Cancer Society funded researcher, Leah Forster Gauvin, MSW, Primary Children’s Medical Center, shared details about her grant and how she’s supporting pediatric cancer patients.

The American Cancer Society Construction vs. Cancer event, The Big Dig, took place on Friday, Sept. 27 at the Utah State Fairgrounds in Salt Lake City.

Thanks to the many sponsors, donors and participants, the event raised more than $85,000 and welcomed 300 children and their families. The funds raised from the event will support pediatric cancer research.
