Scott-Gallaher Inc., a construction and mining equipment dealer serving Virginia and surrounding states, has been named Atlas Copco Construction Tools’ Top Hydraulic Dealer of the Year.

The award recognizes the dealer with the highest total dollar volume of Atlas Copco hydraulic equipment sales in a given calendar year. This is the second straight year that Scott-Gallaher Inc. received this honor.

“What sets Scott-Gallaher apart is a deep dedication to the hydraulic breaker market in Virginia,” said Jim MacDougall, regional sales manager of Atlas Copco.

“They are extremely knowledgeable of the Atlas Copco product and the competition, and are able to convey this knowledge to the customer in a trusted way. Whether the customer needs parts, service or to add or replace a breaker, they know that they can trust Scott-Gallaher to provide them with the very best customer service available.”

With a large amount of quarries in southwest Virginia, Scott-Gallaher Inc. has had particular success with Atlas Copco’s HB 3000, HB 4200 and HB 5800 hydraulic breaker attachments.

“The HB 5800 is a new entry to the market and Scott-Gallaher sold the very first unit in the U.S. in 2004,” said MacDougall. “Since then, they have sold five additional units to quarries in Virginia. This is a further example of the knowledge and trust they possess within the industry and with their customers.”

Founded in 1984, Scott-Gallaher Inc. has two locations that sell, service and support Atlas Copco’s complete line of hydraulic breakers and silent demolition tools for customers in the state of Virginia and some surrounding areas.
