Severe Duty Dozer Blade Moves Snow, Dirt

Mon July 19, 2010 - National Edition
Henke

Henke Manufacturing’s severe duty dozer blade is a useful tool for government agencies and contractors who fight packed snow all winter and move dirt all summer.

Engineered for mounting on either a loader or motorgrader, the severe duty dozer blade incorporates the structural strength needed for summer dozing with the curvature required for severe snow plowing.

The severe duty dozer blade features a multiple box reinforced 48 in. (122 cm) tall steel moldboard with a full length 12 in. (30.5 cm) by 35 lb./ft. S&C horizontal channel center support and five vertical ribs. Hydraulically powered angling is generated with two 4 by 20.75 in. (10 by 52.7 cm) double acting cylinders providing infinite adjustments from 0 to 35 degrees left or right.

The backplate is designed to fit most types of quick couplers and pin hitches, enabling the dozer blade to be used on a large variety of motorgraders and wheel loaders.
