Stephenson Equipment Hires New Service Manager in Pa.

Jeffrey Toot brings a resume that includes service in the U.S. Marine Corps and working on Darrell Walktrip's NASCAR team.

Stephenson Equipment Inc. has hired Jeffrey Toot as its new service manager at the SEI Wilkes-Barre branch in Pittston, Pa.

Toot began his career serving four years in the U.S. Marine Corps as a diesel mechanic. He continued his career path to include various auto dealerships and also spent several years working as a mechanic and road crew member for several NASCAR teams including: Rousch racing, Darrell Waltrip racing and Joe Nemechek racing.

Toot most recently spent his last four years with Hodges Trucking as the shop foreman and GMK crane technician in Sayre, Pa. His duties there included the maintenance and management of their nine Grove cranes and 50+ support vehicles and equipment.

His first day on the job was Aug. 26, 2013.
