Stone Construction Adds Lighter Trowel

Construction Equipment Guide

Stone Construction Equipment Inc. has added a lighter-weight 36-in. (91 cm) model to its Smooth Operator Power Trowel line. The trowel, model CF36L, weighing 23 lbs. (10 kg) less than the standard 36-in. CF364, is practical for basement work because its lighter weight makes it easier to carry down stairs. It also is practical for jobs where the concrete hasn’t cured enough to support a heavier trowel, according to Stone.

The CF36L features a 36-in. working width, and the same operator-friendly features found on the other models in the line, including Stone’s DynaClutch safety system and the optional ProPitch quick blade leveling system for the fine-tuned blade adjustment. The CF36L trowel is powered by either a 5.5 or 8 hp (4.1 or 6 kW) Honda engine.
