Superior Construction, an American family-owned infrastructure contractor, has promoted Tim Koster to Mid-South division manager based in Indianapolis. With an extensive and unique background in business, residential and heavy civil construction, Koster brings substantial expertise to his new role.

"I'm excited to move into this well-established division and continue delivering exceptional results for our clients while fostering a positive work environment for our team," Koster said.

Koster's construction career began in high school when he honed his skills as a carpenter and electrician. His career path led him through various roles, including general manager at a car dealership and residential construction company owner.

Koster joined Superior Construction in 2018, initially serving as a project manager and estimator in the industrial market. His dedication and proficiency quickly earned him the position of senior project manager. Now, as Mid-South division manager, Koster will develop and pursue large-scale transportation projects across the Indianapolis metro area, helping expand Superior's robust regional portfolio of heavy civil transportation and industrial work. He also will head division operations, including labor and cost management.

"Tim has contributed to numerous successful projects across our region, including the Indiana Department of Transportation's I-80/94 pavement restoration projects and the Tennessee Valley Authority project," said Dan Sopczak, Superior Midwest business unit president. "We're confident his hands-on experience and commitment to excellence will help him lead the Mid-South division well."

Koster's leadership style is characterized by his strong work ethic, ability to thrive under pressure and genuine passion for building relationships with colleagues and clients. He is committed to fostering collaboration, pursuing growth opportunities and maintaining Superior Construction's reputation for excellence in the construction industry.
