Takeuchi-US, a global leader in compact equipment, has introduced Jim Ramsdail as technical trainer and content developer, effective immediately. Based out of Takeuchi-US headquarters in Pendergrass, Ga., Ramsdail's primary role will be helping to conduct the instructor-led technical training to Takeuchi subsidiaries and distributors around the world.

An additional responsibility for the newly created role is assisting in new content development as Takeuchi expands delivery training and knowledge to better serve their distribution network.

A U.S. Navy veteran, Ramsdail has more than 20 years of experience in the agricultural, construction and industrial equipment industry.

“Jim's industry experience is focused around parts, service, warranty and training,” said David Steger, global training manager at Takeuchi. “We are excited to leverage his capability during the implementation of new systems here at Takeuchi over the coming months and year, which will add value to our end users and distribution network alike.”

Most recently, Ramsdail served as a supplier recovery supervisor for AGCO Corporation in Duluth, Ga., where he has been since 2015. In his role, he initiated team training programs and strengthened partnerships with suppliers.

“It is great to be a part of a growing Takeuchi team and I believe this position is a perfect fit with my experience,” said Ramsdail. “I am looking forward to the opportunity of conducting training and continuing to develop the brand around the world.”
