Takeuchi-US Announces New Western Regional Business Manager

Rocky Chernow looks to knock out the competition and brings with him over three decades of experience in the heavy equipment industry.

Takeuchi-US has announced that Rocky Chernow has been added to the Takeuchi team. In his new role as Western Regional Business Manager, Chernow will be responsible for all growth and activities within his region. His core responsibilities will include managing relationships with dealers, developing new and existing markets, assisting with inventories, and spearheading sales planning and program promotion.

Chernow brings over three decades of experience in the heavy equipment industry to the Takeuchi team, and has now begun to take an active role in the day-to-day activities in the Western region.

“We are thrilled to have Rocky as part of the team,” explains John Vranches, National Sales Manager for Takeuchi. “We are confident that Rocky’s involvement in the Western region will bring Takeuchi sales support to a whole new level,” he adds.

In addition to a variety of professional certifications, Chernow holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University – Chico.

Takeuchi is an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer of an extensive line of compact track loaders, compact excavators, compact wheel loaders, and skid steers. Founded in 1963, Takeuchi was the first company to introduce the compact excavator to North America, setting the stage for one of the highest growth product segments ever introduced in the compact equipment market. The compact excavator has become a main line product for both rental and construction/utility companies.
