Jerry Tracey, president of Tracey Road Equipment, has announced the company’s designation as a Terex truck dealer for central New York State. In addition, to the Terex line of articulated trucks, Tracey also will be the authorized dealer for Terex scrapers and the rigid-frame trucks, which are predominantly used in mine and quarry operations.

The articulated trucks, that Tracey is purchasing and adding to its rental fleet, also will be available for sale. These articulated trucks come in four sizes: 25, 30, 35 and 40 tons (22.5, 2.7, 31.5 and 36 t).

Currently, Tracey Road is focusing on the 30-ton (27 t) truck category because the company believes it best suits the needs of its customers in central New York.

Tracey noted that Terex has a sizeable factory-owned fleet of machines available for dealers to re-rent. If a unit is not in Tracey’s rental inventory, it will be able to obtain virtually any truck product from Terex for a contractor.

To support the new line, Tracey is accumulating a large inventory of Terex parts. In addition, Tracey’s sales staff and service representatives are receiving factory training on the technical aspects of the Terex units.

Tracey Road Equipment has locations in Syracuse, Binghamton, and Watertown, NY. It also is the authorized dealer for the following products: Kobelco, Blaw-Knox, Etnyre, Freightliner, Ingersoll-Rand, Interstate trailers, Badger, Red River, Kawasaki, Kent, New Holland, Gehl, Alamo, Sterling trucks, Western Star Trucks and Rayco stumpers.
