Terramac, a manufacturer of rubber track crawler carriers, recently met with thousands of attendees at its exhibit during the ICUEE 2019 tradeshow.

"It was our fourth time exhibiting at ICUEE and attendees were very familiar with our company and product offerings," said Mike Crimaldi, CEO of Terramac. "Each year we have worked towards expanding our crawler carrier line while introducing new equipment at ICUEE. This year, we unveiled not one, but two brand new specialty units engineered specifically for the utility industry. It was a tremendous success for Terramac."

ICUEE attendees experienced the debut of Terramac's compact RT6U crawler carrier for utility applications, which was displayed with a Terex Commander 4047 digger derrick, as well as the heavy-duty RT14U equipped with a Terex RMX 75 aerial device. Terramac also highlighted the units' ability to accommodate a wide variety of utility support equipment, including: lineman winches, vacuum excavators, boom lifts, concrete mixers and service cranes.

"Attendees were excited to learn that the RT6U can be legally hauled on an existing tag trailer and no additional equipment or permits are required," says Jesse Whittaker, Director of Business Development at Terramac. "The RT14U was also well received for its ability to accommodate taller lifting devices and heavyweight support equipment with superior durability."

Terramac's recent partnership with Custom Truck One Source was another highlight at the show.

"The average lead time in the utility market for this type of specialized machinery has been as long as about one year. But through our partnership with Custom Truck One Source, the lead time on Terramac utility carriers has been greatly reduced, and in some cases, is down to two or three months which is a huge benefit to the customer," said Whittaker.

"Terramac utility carriers are built with a unique extended frame and hydraulic mount system. This specialized design makes the process of mounting support equipment on a Terramac carrier seamless and efficient," said Ronnie Rose, product manager of Track Equipment at Custom Truck One Source. "We enjoy working with Terramac because they are constantly improving the capabilities of their machinery. The ICUEE attendees were very excited to learn about our new partnership."

Terramac held a dealer meeting before ICUEE 2019 and presented Dealer of the Year Awards.

Terramac also invited its network of authorized dealers to Louisville for a multi-day meeting, which took place before the ICUEE tradeshow. The Terramac dealers enjoyed participating in several business building and networking events, a visit to the Bourbon Trail tour, and a meeting at Buffalo Trace Distillery. Terramac also held a dinner event where it recognized its dealers for their outstanding performance and presented Dealer of the Year Awards.

"It was exciting to see and learn about Terramac's new utility carriers at the ICUEE show," said Larry Kohler, heavy equipment sales at Bobcat of St. Louis. "Terramac continues to provide its dealer network with innovative solutions to help serve the utility market. And for many Terramac dealers, the availability of these new specialty utility carriers was eye-opening as it paves a path to several new opportunities."

"ICUEE 2019 was the perfect opportunity to showcase our latest units and technologies, while allowing us to connect with Terramac dealers as well as current and potential customers," said Crimaldi. "We are very pleased with the positive outcome and look forward exhibiting again."
