Thunder Creek Equipment and its parent company, LDJ Manufacturing, announced that Brad Jungling has been appointed as the company's newest president. Jungling joins Thunder Creek from Pella Corporation, the Iowa-based building products manufacturer.

Jungling brings to Thunder Creek more than 30 years of experience, including specialization in manufacturing operations management and continuous business process improvement.

"Brad is the right person to help lead Thunder Creek because he understands our community and the role our organization plays at both the local and national level," said Loren Van Wyk, owner and chief executive officer of Thunder Creek.

Jean Van Wyk, owner and vice president, said "We are excited to continue our focus on the long-term growth of LDJ with Brad taking over this critical role in the operation."

Thunder Creek Equipment in 2019 celebrated its 10th anniversary of designing and manufacturing diesel fuel and service trailers and like products that are used across a variety of industries, including agriculture, construction, oil and gas, underground utilities and heavy equipment dealers, among others.

Based in Pella, Iowa, Thunder Creek has aggressive growth and innovation plans that Jungling will help spearhead.

"Having a local understanding of Thunder Creek, its products, its people, and reputation in the industries it serves makes this an extremely attractive opportunity for me and my family," Jungling said. "We have considerable opportunities to continue innovating while building on a decade of experience of making the best products in this category."
