Trimble recently released its enhanced earthwork estimating software package as part of the company’s ongoing commitment to provide the construction industry with tools for increasing overall job-site efficiency and accuracy. "Paydirt SiteWork" software version 5.0 is designed to improve workflow efficiency through seamless data integration and the ability to easily link with a wider variety of CAD and other land design packages.
Paydirt software is Trimble’s comprehensive earthwork estimating package that allows contractors to more competitively bid jobs by quickly and accurately calculating earthwork quantities. Paydirt takes the guesswork out of cut and fill quantities, which ultimately improves contractor profitability on nearly any job.
The new Paydirt package offers contractors powerful functionality, such as increased options for CAD import, including a streamlined link to "Terramodel" software, Trimble’s state-of-the-art design and drafting solution. Contractors can quickly open an engineer’s CAD files, easily import the needed information and manipulate the data within Paydirt. In one integrated step contractors can now do themselves what previously required several steps, multiple programs and an engineer to provide data in a specialized format.
The seamless link between Paydirt and Terramodel software also provides contractors moving into the "design and build" business with an entry level, integrated design/build solution that can be expanded into a comprehensive site, road and sewer design, takeoff and stakeout solution.
Trimble’s Paydirt software version 5.0 is now available through its Engineering and Construction Division dealer network.
