Henry Ford manufactured his first tractor in 1916, and like the Model T, the Fordson Model F tractor was made affordable for average farmers to purchase. In 1991 Ford sold their tractor division to Fiat, who discontinued the Ford brand name in 2000 in favor of New Holland.
