Vermeer of Texas-Louisiana and Bobcat of Lubbock held their annual Tailgate Party on Oct. 20 at the Lubbock branch the two companies share.

Each year, the event draws hundreds of customers who are treated to a terrific lunch, Vermeer and Bobcat "swag" and the opportunity to win tickets to a Texas Tech game. This year's drawing was for tickets to the TCU game on Nov. 2.

A similar event was held in Waco, Texas, in September at the companies' facility in Elm Mott, where tickets were awarded to a Baylor game.

Both events also offered customers the chance to view diverse equipment offered at a single location — ranging from Vermeer's large trenching and drilling equipment to the popular compact excavators and loaders from Bobcat.
