Watch as TDOT settles two bridges into place over Poplar Ave. in Memphis Aug. 17 to 20.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) recently replaced two bridges in Memphis.

The bridges, which sat over Poplar Ave. at I-240, were built more than 60 years ago. Through TDOT's $54 million project, known as MemFix 4, both were recently replaced, the Memphis Business Journal reported. In June, part of I-240 was closed to on weekends, which allowed crews to perform the necessary work.

In the time lapse video above, you can see as the new bridges are settled into place between Aug. 17 and 20.
