Walsh Equipment hosted a regional customer appreciation event at the Pioneer Steam and Gas Expo Grounds in Saegertown, Pa., on August 26. Attendees at the event were treated to a catered lunch and an opportunity to visit with the Walsh Equipment sales team and manufacturer representatives from many of the dealership’s equipment lines.

Walsh Equipment had an impressive lineup of JCB machines, LeeBoy paving equipment, J&J Truck Bodies products and a variety of other road maintenance equipment on display. Mike McGuckin of KM International was on hand to help Walsh Equipment introduce the dealership’s recently added line of asphalt recyclers.

According to Walsh Equipment President, Charlie Walsh, the event attracted approximately 300 attendees. Walsh added that while the company still plans to hold the popular events at the dealership’s headquarters and branch locations as it has in the past, this year’s round of smaller regional events are a welcome departure that allows them more individual time with those attending.

In business for more than 80 years, Walsh Equipment is a family owned dealership with its headquarters location in Prospect, Pa., with a branch location in Lilly, Pa. Operating as Walsh JCB, the company is a full-line JCB dealer serving central Pennsylvania. The dealership also is central Pennsylvania’s authorized dealer of J&J Truck Bodies & Equipment, LeeBoy, Rosco, Schwarze street sweepers, Terex Environmental Equipment and Western snowplows.
