Effective immediately, West Side Tractor Sales Co. has joined Atlas Copco’s extensive network of construction equipment dealers. Headquartered in Naperville, Ill., West Side Tractor Sales will carry Atlas Copco’s full line of construction equipment products at each of its locations in Naperville, South Holland, Rockford, Wauconda and Rockdale, Ill.

According to Steve Dillon, field sales manager of West Side Tractor Sales, the company is expanding its equipment lines to include a complete line of compact commercial work site products. To complement this growth strategy, it also decided to carry Atlas Copco’s line of compressors, generators and handheld tools.

“West Side Tractor wants to align itself with a premier manufacturer of utility and construction products, a global manufacturer, a renowned name, a market leader,” said Dillon. “Those are the kinds of products that West Side Tractor wants to represent.”

Its five locations around Chicago and northern Illinois, trained sales staff and technicians, and extensive equipment inventory have resulted in a loyal customer base, according to the company.

“We look forward to significantly growing our Atlas Copco business,” added Dillon. “Their product selection is a strong fit for our utility equipment strategy and we look forward to creating a lifelong relationship with Atlas Copco.”

As part of this effort, Todd Francis, Atlas Copco regional sales manager, will be conducting sales and service training for West Side Tractor employees. At these meetings, West Side Tractor employees will review the entire Atlas Copco construction equipment line. They also will have the opportunity for hands on training and product demonstrations.

Over the next few months, West Side Tractor Sales will continue to introduce its customers to Atlas Copco’s construction equipment line.

“Atlas Copco takes great pride in working with a world-class dealer such as West Side Tractor,” added Francis.

“They bring a total solutions package — from John Deere products to Atlas Copco construction products — to service any contractor’s needs. We look forward to having West Side Tractor Sales as our long-term partner.”
