Westchester Tractor Celebrates 40 Years in Business

Customers flocked to the headquarters of Westchester Tractor and were greeted by employees along with many manufacturer representatives.

Nate, a huge equipment buff who likes to help out on his grandparents farm in Delaware, heard about the show on the radio and begged his parents to bring him. Delicious aromas filled the air from the pig Matt Apple (R) and his friend John were roasting. Westchester Tractor Inc. celebrated its 40th anniversary at the event. The Kobelco man kept an eye on everyone from atop a hill.

Westchester Tractor Inc. held an open house in Brewster, N.Y., on July 15 in celebration of 40 years in business.

Customers flocked to the headquarters of Westchester Tractor and were greeted by employees along with many manufacturer representatives, including those from Kobelco, Kubota, New Holland, Bandit, Vibroscreen, Woods Equipment Company and Terrain King.

Not only were manufacturers available to talk, but they also were demoing different types of equipment. Attendees were able to see a Kubota mini-excavator feed numerous models of Bandit chippers along with a Doosan DX350LC screening soil using a VibroScreen SCM-40C.

Throughout the day attendees were able to compete in the New Holland Skid Steer Rodeo, a highly competitive event with lots of contestants. The winner took home $500.
