Wirtgen America Inc. introduced the midsized Wirtgen W 120 F cold milling machine at World of Asphalt 2007 in Atlanta.

The W 120 F is a high-performance cold milling machine with a milling width of 3.9 ft. (1.2 m), ideal for removing complete asphalt courses to their full depth. It replaces the W 1200 F/T in the product line.

The W 120 F has an hydraulically folding supporting wheel and features front-end loading of reclaimed asphalt pavement via a two-part conveyor system. The machine can be equipped with wheels or crawler tracks.

The optional Flexible Cutter System permits the use of different milling drums with working widths of up to 3.9 ft. (1.2 m) and a variety of line spacings. And the W 120 F can be equipped with the optional new Wirtgen Level Pro leveling system.
