Yoder & Frey Swings Into Ashland for Popular Auction

Yoder & Frey, part of Euro Auctions Group, conducted an auction at its popular Ashland, Ohio, location Sept. 26, one day before heading on to Friedens, Pa.

Items up for bid at the Ashland auction included aggregates, construction, farming and forestry machines and equipment, as well as a large selection of used and new excavators, rollers and skid steers. The auction drew a good-sized crowd of on-site bidders, with some coming from as far away as Massachusetts. It also attracted significant online bidding.

In for the auction from Massachusetts, Richard Wojtkowski (L) of Pittsfield Lawn and Tractor talked equipment with Gibson Machinery’s Chuck Ruggles.

Steel Tracks Inc.’s Chris Sullivan stopped in at the auction to see the equipment up for bid.

Brian Kress of Budget Towing tries out a Bobcat E20 mini-excavator.

With a new Barford equipment display at the auction site, David Allen (L), president of Ohio Barford dealer A-Equip Pro LLC, is joined by Barford General Manager Stephen Murphy, who was in from Ireland.

Yoder & Frey’s Peter Clark kept an eye on the auction activities at the sale.
