Kobelco Construction Machinery USA appointed Javier Marin as parts pricing analyst/inventory control. An experienced industrial parts specialist, Marin will play a key role as Kobelco gears up in support of the company’s aggressive growth strategy following the relaunch of its excavator line in North America earlier this year.

In his new role, Marin will be responsible for compiling comparative parts pricing in order to develop and implement Kobelco’s pricing strategy. He will assist in the development of internal performance measures to gauge pricing effectiveness and track industry trends and forecasts for ongoing analysis of the company’s parts business. Marin’s findings will be essential in Kobelco’s efforts to continually offer competitively priced parts. Marin also will ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained at Kobelco’s parts distribution facility in Houston, Texas.

“We are pleased to welcome Javier to the Kobelco team,” said Eric Hoffman, national parts manager of Kobelco. “Javier’s passion for the industry and extensive parts knowledge make him an exceptional addition to our staff.”
