Redesigned Dingo Hits the Mark for Felling Trailers

Construction Equipment Guide

Since 2000, Felling Trailers has been working together with the Toro Company to create a trailer for the Toro Dingo compact utility loader that would provide sufficient space for the Dingo along with its attachments.

Initially the pan style trailer was only available in the FT-3D (3,500-lb. [1,588 kg] GVWR) and the FT-6 (6,000-lb. [2,948 kg] GVWR). The larger size Dingo Trailers, FT-7D, FT-10D and FT-12D, previously came with 2 by 2 in. (5 by 5 cm) railing that ran along the edge of the deck and now has changed to solid steel sides that help to contain the equipment more efficiently.

D-rings have now taken the place of the cumbersome stake pockets, so that users can secure their equipment to the deck with more confidence.

As with the previous model there are standard attachment mounts that come on all models of the Dingo Trailer: a trencher holder assembly, auger mount, leveler attachment mount and fork attachment mount.

The FT-3D and the FT-6D come with a two-thirds width spring-assist mesh ramp and the larger models come with a spring-assist full width mesh ramp. The redesigned pan style models were put into production late last year and started shipping out in January 2007.
