Mon February 25, 2019 - Southeast Edition #5
CEG Exclusive

On Feb. 6, Blanchard Machinery, the Caterpillar dealer for South Carolina, hosted a lunch & learn event at the View Point at Buckhorn Creek in Greenville, S.C. The many guests enjoyed a hearty lunch of macaroni and cheese, chicken, barbecue, cornbread and assorted deserts.

Blanchard Machinery, your dependable partner, invited customers to learn about the latest Cat Compact Machines outfitted with Trimble Machine Guidance technology. Four pieces of Cat Equipment were on display for guests to look over: the Cat 239D, the Cat 299D compact track loader, the Cat 305E compact excavator and the new Cat utility vehicle. The Cat 299D was equipped with the latest Trimble Grade Control Systems.

Trimble offers a complete line of grade control systems — from laser or sonic-based through to 3D, these rugged systems are easy to use, fully upgradeable and flexible enough to meet a wide range of application and jobsite requirements. Gain a competitive edge and streamline your operations with the next generation of grade control systems from Trimble, the company that invented grade control.

  • Trimble Earthworks GO! — The easy-to-use and install machine control system available today that works with your Android or iOS device.
  • Wait Less, Work More … Earthworks GO! brings machine control down to earth by allowing you to install and move the system yourself to reduce machine downtime. iOS and Android compatibility allows operators to use their smart device as the primary machine interface.
  • GO! Box technology enables full sensing technology with no mounting hardware required. Integrated installation and calibration tutorials that make setup easy.
  • Stay On Grade … Get the results you need, the first time. Eliminate the need for guessing and rework, and get to grade the first time, faster than ever.

Proven laser-guided technology enables high precision grading. Multiple system configurations for fine and finished grade applications — Dual Laser, Single Laser + Slope and Slope-only solutions and 2D automatic ready.

Compact machines with Laser Grade Control are the workhorses of many construction sites. As you find more uses for them, Trimble continues to refine offerings into systems that work just as hard as you do, with a price to fit your budget.

Some of the benefits from using Trimble compact machine solutions on your Cat skid steers, backhoe loaders and mini-excavators include increased productivity, reduced labor and downtime and reduced rework. CEG
