Blanchard Machinery held a Fan Appreciation Day Nov. 12 at its Buckner Road compact and rental store in Columbia, S.C.
Despite a rainy and windy day, the event drew many local contractors, who enjoyed test-driving a host of Caterpillar equipment, taking advantage of parts and merchandise discounts and vying for a steady stream of valuable door prizes. Most valuable were two Caterpillar 277C multi-terrain loaders, which guests could register for the potential to win as they arrived. One loader was decked out in Clemson Tiger colors, while the other was clad in South Carolina Gamecock spirit.
Blanchard Machinery holds its Fan Appreciation Day to thank its customers’ loyalty and to further its spirited college football-themed promotional efforts. Manufacturer representatives also were on hand to show their appreciation. They included Caterpillar, Genie, JLG, Sullair, Allmand and Wacker-Neuson. And, of course, guests were treated to lunch, which consisted burgers, hot dogs and several sides.
