The Colt 1000 incorporates an aggressive double deck screen of 13 ft. (3.96 m) by 4 ft. (1.22 m).

EvoQuip will launch three new products to expand its compact crushing and screening portfolio at Hillhead from June 26 to 28, 2018, in Buxton, England. The machines are the Cobra 230R impact crusher, Cobra 290R impact crusher and Colt 1000 scalping screen. The Cobra 230R will be on display while there will be live demonstrations of the Cobra 290R feeding the Colt 1000 throughout the day.

Matt Dickson, product line director, said "We are delighted to showcase three new products and have live working demonstrations at largest exhibition of its kind anywhere in the world. Hillhead is the perfect platform for EvoQuip to demonstrate why we are leading the way in the compact crushing & screening industry."

The EvoQuip range of mobile crushing and screening equipment provides a compact and versatile solution which can operate in the most demanding of applications including reinforced concrete, recycled asphalt, construction and demolition waste, coal and natural rock. EvoQuip provides a practical solution for onsite recycling in urban areas with all the products being easily transportable from job to job.

The Cobra Range

The Cobra range of Impactors is designed with the operator in mind in terms of ease of use and serviceability. Incorporating features such as ground level access to the engine, hydraulics, service and refueling points as well as hinged radiator pack, hinged diesel tank and product conveyor that can be removed quickly for major maintenance. In addition the operator has the ability to move the machine using the remote control from the excavator cab without shutting down the crusher.

Cobra 230R Impact Crusher

The Cobra 230R builds on the success of the Cobra 230. It is a closed circuit version which incorporates a 8 by 4 ft. (2.44 by 1.2 m) post screen that ensures the required product specification is achieved with oversize material either being recirculated back to the crusher or stockpiled.

The ability to quickly detach the complete afterscreen system including the oversize conveyor, provides the option of either running the machine in standard mode or transporting it separately.

Cobra 290 Impact Crusher

The larger Cobra 290R machines follow on from the strengths of the Cobra 230 incorporating a 40 in. (101.6 cm) by 41.5 in. (105.4 cm) diameter impactor. The rapid set up time, intuitive control system, two button start up and ease of setting adjustment on the Cobra 230 Cobra 230R, Cobra 290 and Cobra 290R enable's crushing to commence minutes after unloading the machine from the lorry.

Colt 1000 Scalping Screen

This latest addition to EvoQuip's scalping screen range is the Colt 1000, the largest screen in the portfolio capable of processing up to 440 ton (400 t), depending on application.

The highly versatile machine incorporates an aggressive double deck screen of 13 ft. (3.96 m) by 4 ft. (1.22 m). The variable screening angle and numerous screen media options ensures the machine is able to operate in both heavy duty scalping and precision screening applications and will manage the most difficult of materials.

The Colt 1000 achieves excellent conveyor discharge heights and by coupling a broad 32 in. (81 cm) belt on the fines the machine distinguishes itself, according to the manufacturer.

Standard configuration discharges the fines product to the right hand side of the plant with the mid-grade on the left. Both conveyors can be ordered reversed as an option with the ability to place both conveyors on the same side of the unit once the Colt 1000 reaches the field. Flexibility is further enhanced with two way split conversion by simply relocating the tail conveyor to collect both top and bottom deck pieces.

Telematics

All models can be fitted with the T-Link telemetry system which provides the customer with real time information on the performance of their machine. Telematics maximises uptime, parts and service availability and provides factual up to date information from the field.
