Midco Demolition Tool Company announced on Dec. 4 in Dallas, Texas, the continuation of the unveiling of its new hydraulic hammer line with two new models, the 3,500 lb. (1,588 kg) MD21 and the 6,000 lb. (2,722 kg) MD32.

“We are expanding our MD Series to insure that there is a quality hydraulic hammer for all work application utilizing the new Midco innovative design,” said Midco General Manager David Spainhour.

Both of these new models are equipped with the Midco designed self-lubrication system. This innovative system insures that these two new models are operator friendly and will stand up to the extreme wear and tear that hydraulic hammers experience everyday.

“With our 28 years of experience in the repair and rebuild of nearly every make and model of competitive hydraulic hammers, we knew where our hammers needed to be ’beefed-up’ in order to outperform and outlast the competition. One of these areas is the amount of seals we install at the factory,” said Spainhour.

“The installation of these extra seals basically eliminates leaks, one of the most common and worst wear areas for hydraulic pistons.” he added.

The Midco demolition tool MD Series line now offers hydraulic hammers ranging from the 500 to 6,000 lb. (226 to 2,722 kg). The new models include the 500 lb. MD4, the 750 lb. (340 kg) MD 6, the 1,500 lb. (680 kg) MD9, the 3,500 lb. MD21, and the 6,000 lb. MD32. All hammers above 500 lbs. are self-lubricating. According to Spainhour, parts and or service are readily available at the company’s Dallas repair center.

Midco Demolition Tool Co. has been a leader in the hydraulic hammer business for more than 28 years. Its 20,000 sq. ft. service center in Dallas, Texas, repairs and rebuilds all brands of hammers. The company has the world’s largest inventory of parts which include unsupported models by all major manufacturers, according to the company.
