Modern Machinery Hires Boka as Service Manager in Montana

Modern Machinery, the Komatsu distributor, has hired Will Boka as the new service manager in Kalispell, Mont.

In his new position, Boka is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and staff of the service department at the Kalispell facility.

“We are fortunate to have Will with the company,” Bill Crandall, executive vice president at Modern Machinery, said. “His experience, equipment knowledge, and customer relationship skills have all contributed to his success in the industry.”

Boka has worked in the heavy machinery industry for more than 20 years, most recently as a service manager in Eureka, Mont. at a truck repair facility. For 22 years, he worked with two Caterpillar dealers in Montana, then owned his own business for several years repairing heavy equipment in Eureka.

As the service manager, Boka will dispatch mechanics, open and close work orders,provide any service related quotes and discuss projects with customers on the phone and in the shop. He will work closely with the parts department to ensure that parts are available and that repairs are completed on time.

Boka has completed a wide variety of Caterpillar training courses.

Modern Machinery has been selling and servicing heavy machinery since 1944 and has 10 locations throughout Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington.
